A gigantic land figure (geoglyph), about 2,000 years old, depicting a reclining cat in the Nazca Desert in Peru.

A giant cat lying on a slope was found in the Nazca Desert, etched centuries ago with geoglyphs such as a hummingbird, ape, a killer whale, and a figure some have likened to an astronaut.

B.C. Dating between 200 and 100 years, the cat figure emerged during work to improve access to one of the hills. When the viewing platform is completed, it will allow visitors to see many geoglyphs in the region together.
